Exploring the World
We plan and encourage all of our children to participate in activities to develop a secure understanding of our local community, our country and the world around them. We have our weekly beach school sessions to identify issues and take responsibility for our local environment, as well as visitors and cluster days with other local small schools. Part of our school mission is to ‘collaborate with the community and make local links, whenever possible’.
We also participate in yearly residentials to develop children’s understanding and exploration of the wider community and also enhances their learning.
