Becoming Engaged Learners
Part of our school curriculum mission is to:
‘Inspire learning through a use of an engaging curriculum’.
We ensure that our children become engaged and curious learners. We encourage our children to think about how their knowledge has developed and allow the opportunity to make cross curricular links across all subjects. All children know their targets and how to improve through verbal and constructive feedback. All children are given the opportunity to ask questions to deepen their understanding, as well as celebrating their achievements. We also provide children with knowledge organisers for foundation subjects to provide them with essential vocabulary, meaning and concepts for their learning. For some subjects, we are fortunate enough to hire artefacts from external providers to enhance children's curiosity and support their learning.
